CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY AND FILE A CLAIM Call your insurance company and inform them that you have had a qualified contractor inspect your home and they have found damages from the recent storm. They will need to know the date of storm. At this time they will assign you a claim number. This is very important because this is how our professionals and their professionals relay information back and forth. ONCE YOU GET A CLAIM NUMBER IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CALL AND GIVE THIS TO RAYNESTORM CONSULTING LLC. DAMAGE ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT Now that you have been assigned a claim number the insurance company will get this claim number to one of there insurance adjusters. Sometimes this will be actual employees of the insurance company and sometimes especially in larger storms they will sub-contract this out to an adjusting firm. When the adjuster assigned to your claim receives your information they will call and schedule a time to meet at your home or property where damage has occurred. At this time it is very important that you contact us at Rayne-Storm and give us the time and date of appointment. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO THIS BECAUSE THE INSURANCE ADJUSTER MAY NOT. We will then put this information in your claim reps schedule to assure he is at this appointment.It is always easier to get things done right the first time instead of having to call your insurance company out for a second meeting to point out damages they did not discover the first time around. The insurance adjuster and your Rayne-Storm professional will walk around exterior of property and come to an agreement of the assessment of damages caused by the storm. It is not encase for you to take time off of work to be at this meeting unless there is interior damages and we need to get inside to take pictures and measurements. We know your time is valuable especially in our current economic state. That is why you hired us to remove all the time consuming paper work and headaches in the process of dealing with an insurance claim. PROJECT PLANNING AND SCHEDULING The insurance company will send you a property loss summary report detailing the scope of damages. At this time call Rayne-Storm and we will schedule an appointment with you and your Rayne-Storm representative. At this meeting your representative will review the property loss sheet and confirm that everything they and the adjuster agreed on is on the scope sheet. We make a copy of the scope sheet and then it is time to pick out products and colors. Easy as that. Next your representative will bring in all the necessary paperwork to our office and we will call you to schedule the best dates to plan on construction. ALL CONSTRUCTION IS HANDLED IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER! Once the work is complete we will have one of our quality control inspectors inspect everything on property. We will then give you all the warrantees and paper work for mortgage companies and insurance companies records. PAYMENT Your insurance company usually releases the funds in two different stages. They will give a first check to get work started and then a final check once all work is completed collects this first check when we deliver materials in your driveway and get ready to start the job. Once we complete all work we will file the paperwork encase for your insurance company to release the final check.
